We take the COVID-19 Pandemic seriously at Para Concepts. We are open for business, using best practices to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. If you are an online customer, not much has changed. By the time you get anything from us in the mail, the time in shipment will reduce the chances of viable virus on your gear or your lineset to near zero.

If you are a local customer, please respect the health and safety of our staff by observing a few well known best practices. We are happy to accept equipment for maintenance in person, honoring the following requests:

  • Please wear a face covering.
  • Please take advantage of our touchless hand sanitizing station just inside our door.
  • As you enter, expect us to take your temperature with our touch-less infrared thermometer.
  • We prefer that you complete payment on our website before you pick up your equipment.

You should know that we will take the utmost care of your equipment. We will follow all CDC guidelines and the recommendations of the PIA (Parachute Industry Association) .

  • We will never apply disinfectant chemicals to your equipment. At present, there is no known safe chemical based method of disinfecting parachute equipment.
  • In order to protect our staff, we reserve the right to quarantine your equipment upon receipt, for at most 3 days to reduce the chances of any transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  • Upon completion of work, we will seal your equipment in a clear plastic bag. We will place a sticker on the bag indicating the date and time work was completed, This allows you to know the last time your equipment was touched by human hands or even by human breath.

With these precautions in place, we hope that you will feel comfortable in these challenging times. We are doing everything possible to reduce the risks everyone takes when leaving their homes.

Please be safe and healthy. Together, we will make it through these challenging times.
